早前有纽约时报专栏作家报道，成人网站Pornhub涉嫌含有儿童性侵和强奸片段，而信用卡公司Mastercard和Vsia在最近发布声明，表示将不支持Pornhub的网络付款方式，而Pornhub表示，对Mastercard和Visa的相关措施表示失望。
据报道，信用卡公司Mastercard在声明指出，根据调查发现，Pornhub违法了其公司非法内容的标准，现在正中止支持成人网站Pornhub的网络付款方式，也会继续调查其他潜在的非法内容。而信用卡公司Visa也在另外一份声明中表示，正在指示金融机构，暂停用户通过Visa于其平台作网络支付。
Pornhub也作出回应，表示对Mastercard和Vsia的相关措施“极度失望”，指出现在其网站已作出了更改，未经验证的用户会被禁止上传视频及相关内容，也指这可能会影响数十万的模特儿生计。
而其报道由纽约时报专栏作家Nicholas Kristof所写，他指出每年有约700万视频在网站发布，其中在其网站有遭袭击和贩运的女性受害者图片。
