Meta在WhatsApp加入即时收发加密货币功能，为用户提供稳定币转账服务，不会收取手续费及限制转账次数。数字货币银包Novi负责人强调，新功能不会影响WhatsApp的点对点通信加密。
Meta旗下的数字货币银包Novi先前宣布与美国加密币交易所Coinbase，及美元稳定币发行商Paxos Standard合作，为用户提供转账“USDP (Pax Dollar)”服务。

Meta将Novi的测试计划延伸至WhatsApp，为用户提供稳定币转账服务。而于WhatsApp转账的原理与发送附件的方式相似，只需在加入资料的菜单上选择“支付”便可。Novi负责人于Twitter表示，收发货币如同发送消息般简便，而且不会收取手续费及限制转账次数。他强调新功能不会影响WhatsApp上点对点通信加密。
原本Meta计划在Novi上推出的加密货币为“Diem”，但后来却由Pax Dollar取代。不过Meta强调，Diem将会在获得监管单位批准后推出市场。
