iOS 15.4 Beta更新了捷径功能，添加了“执行时的通知”（Notify When Run）选项，令iPhone可在没有弹出通知的情况下，启动捷径指令。
iOS的捷径功能为iPhone用户提供更自动化的使用体验。现在当用户执行捷径指令时，iPhone会于屏幕上方弹出通知，提示用户电话在执行有关捷径。例如执行Safari捷径时，会弹出带有Safari标志及捷径名称的通知。虽然有关通知只会持续显示数秒，对用户影响不大，但有不少人认为多该举，阻碍屏幕。
外国开发者Florian Bürger上传了使用iPhone捷径的视频，视频中Bürger从屏幕锁定画面中，直接以启动相机手势打开第三方相机应用程序，而非如以往般要先解释进入主页面方可激活。

Bürger指，上述情况为iOS 15.4 Beta的新功能，为捷径添加“执行时的通知”（Notify When Run），用户可通过关闭该选项，令iPhone能在不显示通知的情况下执行捷径指令。因此Bürger的iPhone能在没有显示通知的情况下，通过捷径直接打开第三方相机应用程序，就像手机直接启动应用程序。
