在iPhone 11系列推出之前，有众多说法均指新iPhone将会支持反向Qi无线充电功能，为AirPods、甚至是Apple Watch充电，像是Android正在做的一样。然而在台上出现的iPhone 11、iPhone 11 Pro或是iPhone 11 Pro Max都没有这样的功能，当大家都注意力都放在那三眼相机之时，有Apple爆料人就出来表示“有可靠来源证实iPhone 11系列有反向充电所需的硬件，只是在软件给封印了，未知是否在最后生产阶段有改变。”
Reliable sources are saying iPhone 11 and 11 Pro do include the hardware for bilateral charging, but that it is software disabled. Uncertain whether this was removed prior to final production run.
