疫情自爆发至今已经四个多月，世界各地的官方机构，每日也会针对疫情发布信息。然而，在网络上仍然充斥很多虚假的消息；Twitter近日更新政策，把与疫情相关的误导性信息删除。

–Encouragement to use fake or ineffective treatments, preventions, and diagnostic techniques

Twitter更新了有关新冠肺炎的政策，要求用户删除未经证实的帖文，以避免恐慌和大规模动乱的发生。Twitter实际在上月已经推出有关新冠肺炎内容的更新政策，并删除了2230条带有“误导性和有害内容”的帖文。
We have broadened our guidance on unverified claims that incite people to engage in harmful activity, could lead to the destruction or damage of critical 5G infrastructure, or could lead to widespread panic, social unrest, or large-scale disorder.

几个月来有关新冠肺炎的错误信息在网络散播，甚至煽动人们采取极端行为。早前，有阴谋论把新冠肺炎的传播和5G的推出联系起来，导致5G信号塔被人为纵火和蓄意破坏。Twitter希望借着过滤错误信息，以减少这类型事件的发生。
Facebook、Google、Microsoft和YouTube均在上月作出共同承诺，会处理与新冠肺炎相关的错误信息。
