早前微软曾在“Inside Xbox”大型发布会中，公布部分Xbox One游戏支持“Smart Delivery”功能，玩家只要购买游戏的Xbox One版，即可免费兑换该作品的Xbox Series X版本，毋须重复购买。而根据外国爆料者内幕消息，Sony有意照板煮碗，让现有PlayStation 4游戏玩家，可免费得到该作品的PS5版本。
根据知名业界爆料者 @IronManPS5在社交媒体上的留言，玩家或有很大机会在购买本年年末发行的PS4游戏之后，可免费兑换该游戏的PS5版本。爆料者指玩家毋须重复购买游戏，只要购买一个版本，就能在两个平台上游玩。

到底有哪些游戏会受益呢？ @IronManPS5就继续爆料，可享免费升级PS5版本的游戏好大机会会包括Marvel’s Avengers。另外Cyberpunk 2077、FIFA 21、LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga等游戏，在PS5正式推出后，玩家就能够马上兑换这些游戏的PS5版本。
当然以上消息纯粹由爆料者提供，并非一定百分百准确。不过为了应对Xbox阵营的“Smart Delivery”超级优惠，Sony不得不想方法去提供同类或类似功能。
